- Air Filter, Regulator, Lubricator unit (F.R.L unit) can achieve multiple purposes (air filtration, inlet air pressure regulation, and pump parts’ lubrication) at the same time.
The unit’s filtration can filter out water vapor by 90%, preventing condensed water from entering the air chamber of the AODD pump, which can result in the pump chamber’s mechanic malfunction or corrosion.
- Air Inlet regulator can regulate inlet air pressure of the Air-Operated Double Diaphragm Pump, and maintain the stability of the inlet air pressure supply. The pressure of a regular air compressor can reach up to 8.3 bar, which might cause damage to the parts of AODD pump in the long run. With the regulator installed on the AODD pump, not only can it achieve energy efficiency, the service life of AODD pump can be extended by controlling the air pressure at an appropriate level through the regulator.
- The lubrication unit is designed to mix lubricating oil in the oil cup with air into an oil mist and inject it into the pump air chamber. So that the piston and other parts in the AODD pump air chamber are fully lubricated, reducing the friction between the parts and maintaining the pneumatic diaphragm pumps’ smooth operation, and reduce the wear of parts to extend the working life of the pump. Generally, the parts and mechanisms of AODD pumps will be covered with lubricating oil before leaving the factory. Therefore, excessive lubrication is not recommended, excessive accumulation of lubricating oil may cause malfunction of the AODD pump. If the air quality in the working environment is poor and often contains a lot of dust, it is recommended to lubricate regularly to prevent dust from adsorbing grease, which will increase the friction of the mechanism and reduce the life of the AODD pump. Regularly clean the dust and lubricate the parts in the air chamber is the best way to maintain AODD pumps.
