Paints and coatings contain various pigments, powders, resins, solvents, and other mixed materials, so pneumatic diaphragm pumps used for delivery must possess considerable stability, wear resistance, and safety against explosions.

Pressure tanks can reduce pulsation by about 60%, while the feed suction cups can filter particles and impurities with a diameter of 0.1mm or more.

Pressure tank

The main function is to use the sealed space inside the pressure tank to reduce the pulsation effect of the fluid output of the air-operated duplex diaphragm pump, which can reduce pulsation by about 60%. This is the simplest and most cost-effective fluid buffering accessory.

Fluid Pressure Regulator

The main function is to stabilize and suppress the pulsation generated by the fluid output of the pneumatic duplex diaphragm pump during operation, providing and maintaining a stable pressure and spray volume of the coating. After adjustment, it can reduce pulsation amplitude by more than 95%, making the fluid output more stable and smoother. Tests have shown that the optimal fluid input-to-output pressure ratio is 3:1, which can achieve an almost pulsation-free effect.

Single Port Air Pressure Regulator

The main function of the pressure regulator is to adjust the incoming air pressure for the operation of the pneumatic diaphragm pump and maintain a stable air pressure supply. Since the gas pressure provided by the air compressor usually has an output pressure value of 8.3 bar, the higher the set value of the pump's inlet pressure, the easier it is to damage or reduce the service life of the pneumatic duplex diaphragm pump's pneumatic parts. Therefore, by adjusting the inlet pressure to the suitable minimum value through a single-point intake regulator, the service life of the pneumatic diaphragm pump can be effectively extended, and energy-saving and carbon-reducing effects can also be achieved.

 

F.R.L.

F.R.L. = Filter + Regulator + Lubricator

"F.R.L.", also known as "air conditioning combination", is usually installed in the pneumatic equipment system. F.R.L. can simultaneously filter impurities and moisture in the air, adjust the input pressure, stabilize the supply of input pressure, and provide a triple effect of air output with lubrication and rust prevention. If the F.R.L. is not installed, the airflow in the pipeline may cause oxidation, rust, or even wear.

 

  • Filter (filter water)

The air filter can remove impurities and moisture in the compressed air pipeline, as well as separate liquid (water, oil) carried in the air, which can prevent oil and water mixtures from causing damage to pneumatic diaphragm pumps and production losses.

In environments with high humidity and low temperature, condensation may occur in the compressed air pipeline, which can cause metal pipelines to rust and increase the probability of equipment failure if it enters the pump and other equipment. To avoid the maintenance cost caused by pump damage, it is strongly recommended to install this accessory to filter out condensation in the compressed air pipeline and keep the pipeline clean and dry.

  • Regulator (Pressure Adjuster)

Used to regulate the operating air pressure of the pneumatic double membrane pump and maintain a stable air pressure supply. Since the gas pressure output value provided by the air compressor is generally 8.3Bar, the larger the set value of the pump's intake pressure, the easier it is to damage or reduce the service life of the pneumatic diaphragm pump's air pressure components. Therefore, by using a single-point intake pressure regulating valve to adjust the intake pressure to the lowest suitable value, it can effectively extend the service life of the pneumatic diaphragm pump and achieve energy-saving and carbon-reduction effects.

 

  • Lubricator (lubrication)

The oil feeder is used to add lubricating oil to the compressed air pipeline in a timed and quantified manner, maintaining the lubrication and anti-rust effect of the compressed air components, reducing frictional wear between the compressed air components, and achieving the effect of extending the service life.

If the customer uses a pneumatic double diaphragm pump in an environment with poor air quality, high dust, or very dry conditions, we strongly recommend that you install a Lubricator.
